Sardar Patel College, Hilsa, Nalanda (Bihar) was established in 1979. On the time of establishment the president of the College was Dr. Ram Raj Singh (Former Education Minister of Bihar).
The location where College is situated is Economically Backward and most of the peoples are SC and OBC Category. To achieve higher education among these peoples, the college was aimed to establish.
